In honor of MLK day, join us for a town hall conversation that traces the close allyship of Black and Jewish communities, highlighting some of the remaining challenges in shared struggles against injustice. In partnership with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference of Southern California.

Hear from honored guests Donzaleigh Abernathy (daughter of civil rights pioneer Ralph David Abernathy), Avi Dresner (son of Rabbi Israel Dresner, the most arrested and jailed Rabbi during the Civil Rights Movement), Michael Lawson (President of the LA Urban League), Pastor William Smart (President of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference Southern California) and Rabbi Sharon Brous in a rich and meaningful conversation moderated by USC and Berkeley professor Dan Schnur.
