“Don't keep hatred as your companion and don't be a silent observer if you see injustice”

Eva was born in 1936 in Cluj, Romania. Following the Nazi invasion, Eva and her mother were deported to Ravensbruck Concentration Camp, and Eva's mother died on the way to the camp. At the age of 9, Eva was liberated at Bergen Belsen by British troops. Eva’s father found her through the international Red Cross, and they eventually immigrated to the US in 1957. They settled in Los Angeles where Eva married a fellow Holocaust Survivor and raised four children.

Weekly on Thursdays at 11 a.m. PST Holocaust Museum LA hosts virtual Holocaust Survivor Talks. Holocaust survivors in our community share their personal experiences and stories of courage, resilience, and hope, allowing us to preserve their memories and steward their messages.
