Ann was born in Rome, Italy in 1928. When Mussolini's regime fell in 1943, Nazi Germany occupied the country. Facing deportation, Ann's family quickly fled to the mountain town of Alvito. They spent several difficult months living there and concealing their Jewish identity.
Weekly on Thursdays at 11 a.m. PST Holocaust Museum LA hosts virtual Holocaust Survivor Talks. Holocaust survivors in our community share their personal experiences and stories of courage, resilience, and hope, allowing us to preserve their memories and steward their messages.
